Customer Service Pharmacy Technician
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Customer Service Technician to join our team. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional customer service.
— NC Board of Pharmacy Registration is required
— 25 hours weekly
Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming phone calls and calling facilities for order clarifications- solving problems.
- Providing requested price quotes- figure out cost-per-day from emailed medication lists.
- Processing incoming payments.
- Handling Back-Ups & STAT orders- fax back-ups, confirm, and schedule driver. Place charges in computer and reconcile back-up reports.
- File all records of employee call logs monthly.
Qualifications
- Certification and previous experience in LTC pharmacy is highly desirable but willing to train.
- Proficiency in medical terminology related to pharmacy practices and patient care.
- Experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while maintaining a focus on individual patient needs.
